Line and Wrinkle Softening

Persistent movement of the facial muscles can lead to the development of lines and wrinkles on the face over time, commonly on the forehead, on the forehead between the eyes and around the eyes.

By deactivating the muscle in these areas and preventing the muscle from contracting, persistent folding of the skin is prevented which can lead to unsightly wrinkles.

At the Victoria Jones Dental Studio we are able to deactivate the muscles in order to prevent these wrinkles from developing. The procedure is quick and painless and the effects typically last 3-4 months.

The effect tends to last longer when a client has successive treatments as the treatment breaks the frowning habit as the muscles are used less frequently, so the muscles tend to weaken.

Typical areas for this treatment are crow's feet lines, forehead lines and the frown lines between the eyebrows. Cost depends on how many areas are treated at the same visit and are as follows:

Another common area for ageing lines to appear is between the corner of the nose and the lips, known as the naso-labial folds. These folds can deepen as a client ages and contributes to an older looking face.

These lines can be softened by injecting a hyaluronic acid based gel just under the skin to support the tissue and thereby lessening the depth of the fold creating a more youthful appearance to the face.

This treatment typically costs £178.50 to £341.25, depending on the lines involved and the amount of material required to achieve the desired result. The effects typically last for 6 months.

NB: These non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments tend to benefit from repeated doses so we offer packages of treatments to help make these procedures more affordable.

For example: 1 yearly package of Wrinkle Softening Treatments would involve x4 treatments over the period of a year or one treatment every three months. If this package is purchased in advance the whole amount is subject to a 20% discount on the entire cost. In addition if the treatment package adds up to over £500, 0% finance* may be available to help make the cost more manageable.

For example: A client wants x1 facial element treated over the period of one year. Typically this would involve one treatment every 3-4 months. Four treatments over 1 year+ would normally cost £735 (4x£183.75). However, paid for in advance this cost would reduce to £588 and if purchased with 0% finance* over 10 months would work out at £58.80 per month for 10 months!
